Today was Rylee's real birthday and she wanted "Arby's" and to have make your own sundaes! Birthday wish granted! I love this girl...she is the silliest, sassiest, and sweetest kid I know! During the bath tonight I told the girls the water was too dirty to drink...then Jake added that they would get "swine flu" if they drank it ...they wanted to know what swine flu was and he told them that if they drank the dirty water they would grow pig noses. Awhile later he saw Audree trying to take a swig of the water and he said, "Uh oh, Audree is growing a pig nose!!" Well, Audree paniced and started screaming...I had to drag her out of the tub and try to calm her down with some common sense...in the middle of this discussion Karlee ran in the room wearing Jake's halloween costume...

Rylee's 6th Birthday!
Today was Rylee's 6th birthday party...her big day is actually next week, but Wednesday is a terrible day for a party (she would have to miss karate, yikes) and she insisted it had to be before her birthday...she couldn't wait until after!! She invited 5 friends to go to "Jumpin Jacks" (a warehouse full of huge inflatable slides) and then we went home for presents and cupcakes. It was quite a swingin' shindig!
She was SSOOOO excited that we invited her 2 best boy buddies, Isaac and Talmage, and everyone was completely worn out after "Jumpin Jacks"! Thanks to Judy, Jenny, Candice and new fiance, Doug (we are totally stoked for you guys!) for coming to support Rylee! I can't believe my babies are growing up!!

Happy Easter!
Easter morning was bright and early! The kids were excited about the baskets and...the chocolate! The Easter Bunny must have felt bad that Spencer's birthday is so close to Christmas, so he got a special Thomas the Train set. The thing about Spencer is that he becomes completely attached to things extremely quickly! That train hasn't left his side in over 24 hours!
Thank you Grandma GiGi for the adorable Easter dresses...the girls were SO excited to wear them to church today! This was my attempt at getting a picture of all of my kids together...out of like 20 attempts, not a single one had all 4 of them looking at me!
So, I gave in and decided to capture the backs of their dresses instead!

Hike to Y Mountain
The kids have been begging for several weeks to hike to the "Y" and we've been telling them we would when the weather was better. Today seemed like a good day, cloudy, but warm (by Utah standards anyway). So, we were going to take Spencer, but at the last minute Jenny, Candice and Judy said they would play with him...which ended up being a great idea! It's a pretty good hike and I was impressed with how well the girls did on it! They loved that Brooke and Lauren decided to join us! It was a great workout and the view was unbeatable!
We all felt pretty strong...at least in the beginning!
We got lucky because as soon as we reached the "Y", the weather got cold and the clouds began to build...from way up there we saw a raining cloud headed our way and quickly began our descent back down! A few raindrops to cool us off and our trip was done! It really was a perfect little escape and the kids enjoyed the whole thing! I think they are going to sleep really well tonight...I know I am!

Conference Weekend!
We really enjoyed a relaxing conference weekend as a family! Thanks to my cousin, Paige, for sending a great new waffle recipe...it was my first attempt at sourdough! Brooke and Lauren (Brooke's best friend who is pretty much family) came over for whipped cream with a little waffles and strawberries (if you know what I mean!). Then we all watched the morning session of conference together...Karlee and Rylee even gave us all foot massages (more like a tickling session) while we watched!
Then after the last session of conference we headed over to the Clark's for dinner and an Easter Egg hunt! Judy was so great and must have stuffed 100 eggs for the kiddies...who actually enjoyed the eggs stuffed with chocolate more than the ones with money! The kids also made Easter drawings for Uncle Sean on his mission! It was so great to have a nice day between the snowy and cold ones!
