4th of July

Add another one to the books...great 4th of Julys, that is! Yep, they are always fantastic! We enjoyed the parade and all of the wonderful family we get to hang out with! Then the girls went to get pedicures (grandma GiGi and Grandpa were in town this time...since Audree's baptism was the same week!)...while the boys went golfing! The Nemrow BBQ was fabulous and delish and then we got to go to the Stadium of Fire...yep, we actually went to the show this year. Cirque du Soleil was there along with Carly Rae Jepson and Kelly Clarkson. It was a great show and we had a blast!

Audree's Baptism Day

Audree is 8 and 8 is great! Before her baptism day we took her out for a special photo shoot at the Provo Temple. She looked beautiful and so grown up! I loved her angelic pictures. She was so excited to be baptized by her Dad! The day went perfectly...well, except for the important article of clothing that Mom forgot to bring to the baptism...whoops! She was surrounded by LOTS of family and friends who came to support Audree. We are just so proud of her decision to be baptized and her good choices. We came back to the house for some brunch after the baptism was over...muffins, ham, fruit and chocolate milk...yum!

Activity Days- Day Camp

Audree was such a lucky duck! As soon as she was old enough to go to Activity Days they had planned a fun day trip to a camp....and I was the lucky duck who got to go with her! She is so funny and had a blast doing all the activities. She got to make rockets and shoot them off, paddle around on a raft, make a keychain, shoot bb guns and do some archery. What a great day!

Lake Powell...Hooray!

I have said it once, I've said it a thousand times...Lake Powell is my favorite place on Earth! It got even better this year because we got to take our "Boat-y" with us! We got a perfect spot on the lake (possibly through a little trickery) with a small bay all to ourselves. The weather was gorgeous and almost the entire Clark family was there (we were only missing Casey & Dave's family). We tried out surfing behind the boat for the first time, Audree & Spencer became knee-boaring pros, we played a fantastic game of Minute-to-Win-It one night, we floated around our "private bay" and we just relaxed and enjoyed. LOVE!

California Summer 2013

California was so much fun...again! Grandma & Grandpa moved during the Spring, so we did our trip a little differently this summer. Lots of time at the beach, a boating excursion with Blair & Shanna, shopping at the Shoppes, swimming at Travis and Katie's and the adults went out for a yummy sushi dinner (while the kids hung out and watched OZ at Grandma's!). It was a quick trip out, but we didn't waste a second while we there. It's always a good time!
