California Trip

California is always a great place to hang out and relax! Grandma GiGi and Grandpa just moved into their new home, which we lovingly refer to as the "Taj Ma-Small". It was so recent that the showers didn't even work yet (at least not for a warm shower)...but we just found other ways to have a blast! We hung out with Sheralyn Bole and her family to catch up on old times and let the kids swim, so fun to see them! We hit Medieval Times for a little dinner and jousting (Grandma & Grandpa joined us)...the kids LOVED it, especially Karlee who caught the rose from our favorite jouster and Rylee who finally got to check "eat a giant turkey leg" off of her bucket list. Spencer was just stoked that we had a flag to wave all night and Audree wasn't sure about eating without a fork! It was a fun treat! We made it to the beach and found out that we are all big fans of boogie boarding...plus the bonfire was a hit as usual! And, one day we headed out to see Blair & Shanna's new place and go boating with them...the kids spent all afternoon on the floating island! Never a dull moment!
