Hoppy Easter Everybunny!

It was a great Easter around our house! The baskets were full of fun and treats and everyone got a duffle bag for summer traveling! I was excited that the Easter Bunny brought me some Peeps (my favorite!) and the Duck Dynasty show on DVD...YES! It was warm enough for Easter eggs outside and after church we decorated Easter eggs. Then we had a yummy dinner at Grandma Clark's house (even though her basement flooded and all the men spent the afternoon and evening pulling out wet carpet!)...it was a fabulous day and we're just super-excited it's Spring around here!

Triple Talent!

It's that time of year again...talent show time! This time around Karlee was too busy preparing for the Student Council skit and getting ready to MC the talent show to do a talent (whew...one less to think about!). Audree decided to sing and chose the song "Give Your Heart A Break" by Demi Lovato. Rylee stuck with hip hop dancing...always a great choice for her! On grade level talent show day Audree did a beautiful job singing...she was confident, hit every note and looked adorable! Rylee did her dance, but we had changed the choreography 2 days before the show and she got stuck in a spot...it was barely noticeable, but she was bummed. Personally, I think she's awesome and did a fabulous job...she is just a natural performer, charismatic, confident and beautiful! Anyways, Karlee did a great job announcing too! Audree made it to the school-wide talent show and Karlee was performing her skit and announcing at that one too...so, Spencer and I had the great privilege of going to the school-wide show on Friday too! It was a fun week of talent and I am always impressed and proud of my kiddos!

Kindergarten Egg Drop!

It's almost a right-of-passage in this family when it's your turn to do the kindergarten egg drop...Daddy gets really excited too! We decided to stick with the foam (same as Audree's) for Spencer's big day. He talked about it for weeks and then we were a bit worried when it started to snow that morning...but the Egg-Drop Must Go On!! And so it did! Spencer's egg survived and it was a chilly, but fun-tastic event! We are a little bummed that we won't get to do that again...it's so weird that the kids are growing up! Anyways, Great Job Spencer!

4th Grade Utah Performance

Rylee has been excited for weeks about the upcoming "Utah" program she was working on at school...so, I was really excited to go and watch her! She was also excited about the opportunity to wear the "pioneer" dress that gets passed around the Clark family for these types of occasions! They had 2 performance times...one worked for Daddy and one worked for Mom...so Rylee had a cheering squad at both! She did a great job...especially doing the big square dance! We sure love to watch our Rylee perform!

Cheer Competition in Ogden!

This year Karlee's team had a competition in Ogden and when we found out we had to be there at 7:00 in the morning...we decided to make an overnight road trip out of it! We were so glad that Courtney could join us too! We drove up and stayed at the hotel...we watched "Say Yes to the Dress" and ate treats! The next day was the competition and the girls did a great job! We had such a fun Girls Night Out!

*A few weeks later was Nationals in Salt Lake! The girls took 1st place and made it to "Match Play"...no Airtime team has made it that far at Nationals before! They got to perform their routine a 2nd time and took the silver award! It was such an exciting, emotional and fantastic day! These girls are rock-stars!

A Homemade Rocket Ship!

Spencer is a super-creative kid and is absolutely convinced that he will invent something amazing one day...I hope he's right! He loves to ride his bike around the neighborhood and find "treasures" that he can use to make inventions. The other day he found a bunch of stuff and also found a cardboard box at home...so, of course, he decided to build a rocketship that he could ride around the neighborhood. Jake and I just couldn't break his heart and tell him it wouldn't work (although we tried to explain that it might not work). After a couple days of finding old training wheels in the garage and going out to buy duct tape we tried our best to get it to work...but it just fell apart when he sat in it. So sad!! Don't worry...he's bummed, but more convinced than ever that the right invention is just around the corner! Love this guy!

Dr. Seuss's Birthday...Crazy Hat Day!

One of the favorite days of the school year is Crazy Hat Day! The kids were excited to pick out the ones they wanted this year! I love that Spencer INSISTED on making his out of paper...Daddy even tried to make him a cool sailor hat out of the newspaper, but he wouldn't have anything to do with it...he loved the one he made! Audree's hat was fabulous and she was even choosen as the one in her class with the silliest hat!! These guys are so funny!
