Let it begin...summer that is!

We have been too busy to keep up the blog...3 weeks ago we went to St. George for 2 days, we came home and I left for Girl's Camp 2 days later... the night I got home from Girl's Camp we left for California (while we were there Jake and I had a fabulous overnight adventure at the Ritz Carlton!), the morning after we got home from California we did a garage sale at the Clark's, Monday I had a wedding to photograph and my parents came into town to visit for 2 days and now it's today...deep breath...tomorrow Jake's sister Sarah comes into town and we have plans all weekend to celebrate July 4th with the Clarks! Woo Hoo for Summer!

St. George was just a little escape. Jake had to work down there...so we went down to catch some rays! While we were there Spencer learned to swim without his life-jacket and Audree became quite the little fish without hers too! We spent a LOT of time at the pool! It was a quick stay, but relaxing and fun for all of us!

Girls Camp was a great time...it was my first time doing camp in tents! We went on a crazy hike that was supposed to be 2 hours, but ended up being 5 (most of the time in SNOW!). I spent a LOT of time french braiding, it felt like being back at home! It was great to spend time with my beehives!

California was fabulous as always! Hour after hour in the pool, some time at the beach, hanging out with family....good times. The kids had their first sleepover at their cousins house while Jake and I escaped to the Ritz Carlton for a night (we loved taking my mom's convertible to drive around Newport Beach!). We gave all the Nemrow men speedos to celebrate Father's Day...that turned into quite the event...I promised no photos on the public blog...but man was that a kodak moment! The beach bonfire with s'mores was a great time too! What a week!

I gotta run...more chaos to be had...fun, fun, fun!

Summer Has Arrived!

How do I know summer has officially arrived?? Spontaneous water fights and Audree's birthday...that's how!

This water fight broke out on our first summer day that hit 80 degrees...woo hoo!

I can't believe Audree is 6 years old...in fact, I keep talking to her about how she's turning 5 and she has to keep reminding me that she's turning 6! Anyways, she wanted to have a friend birthday party at Jumpin'Jacks...so we did cake and presents at the house and then headed over for some jumpin' fun! It was a great little party and she was excited to have her friends celebrate with her! I love this little kiddo...she always likes to chat with me at bedtime about her day, she is such a great reader and a beautiful dancer and she is always ready for a big snuggle...what more could a mom ask for?
