Spring Break!

With travel to California for Nationals and an upcoming cruise on the calendar, we were hoping to make Spring Break travel light and easy...but that would have been too easy. So, we planned a couple days in Vegas with Sam & Holly's family and then Brooke and Kyle decided to get sealed at the Newport Beach, California Temple that week too...so, it turned into a full week of car travel. We had such a great time, it was totally worth it! We ended up being in Las Vegas on Easter and General Conference weekend. So, we listened to Conference and watched in on the Ipad inbetween trips to the pool and walks on the strip...a strange combination of activities...but it worked! The Easter Bunny managed to find us in our hotel too and we ate a fabulous breakfast with HUGE plates of food. It was so fun to hang out with our cousins...we even spent Easter evening with Casey and Dave's family (and the Moss family that was also visiting) at their house eating a delicious dinner and playing an intense egg cracking contest. Walking the strip with the cousins was a blast! We ate dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, checked out the M&Ms store, tried Coke flavors from around the world at the Coke store and saw the fountains at the Bellagio.

The California Leg of the trip was a blast too! We hung out at Grandma and Grandpa's, went to Brooke, Kyle and Mylee's sealing (and Aunt Nancy's house for dinner afterwards...yum!), spent a day at the beach (Mom was taking photos for a ward member's family there) and got to hang out with our cousins at the batting cages. The Sunday wiffle games at Grandma Clark's house paid off...everyone could connect with the balls and hit well.
